I have a private music studio from where I teach and also record acoustic piano. My piano is fairly new and in great condition, but with the heavy use it gets through the week, I really need the piano to sound fabulous especially before a recording session, and Robert has the tools to do just that - mainly his amazing ears and musicianship (he's a pianist as well). I highly recommend him - he is thorough in his job, and a warm lovely person to do business with, and he makes my piano sing!

Rob's been tuning/servicing my piano for 6 years and his work is always excellent. He has a real passion for the instrument and takes great pride in his craft. Highly recommended.

There are many reasons why Rob should be your piano technician. He is passionate about piano design, music and his work. He is a classically trained pianist with a performing arts degree. He honed his technician skills working for Ori Bukai at Allegro Piano in Stamford, CT. Allegro is a world class piano showroom and music school. I doubt there is a more demanding or perfection-oriented place to learn about the best pianos in the world. He currently works for Mason & Hamlin as a voicer. Rob is always interested in explaining his work and answering too many questions. And our dog likes him.

Rob is one of the most skilled technicians I have used. He is a master at voicing with a very refined ear, and was able to bring out a more beautiful sound from my very old Mason & Hamlin than I had previously heard. He is a little obsessive about the details - something that I personally like in a piano technician. He is very knowledgeable and seems to like problem solving and working with you to get the right touch and tone for the way you play. Rob is also a very pleasant person to have in your home. If you are looking for a piano tuner or technician, I highly recommend you get in touch.
